First up is the second race from Pukekohe in March:

This is a very close race. I take the lead for the first few laps but then a small error on lap 3 sees me drop back as far as 6th. Every lap the positions were changing frantically. On the final lap I got a good run onto the back straight and finished up in 4th.

Then this beauty, the NZTT and final race of the 2008 season:

Unfortunately I was penalised for jumping the start. After leading for two laps I fell back momentarily to 5th. Then managed to fight my way back to 2nd by the end of the 5th lap. However after two fellow racers fell going into turn 2 on lap 4 the race was red flagged. Due to the 20 second time penalty for the alledged jump start I finished last and thus was forced to start from last in the restarted 4 lap race. I got another great start (not jumping this time!) and was fifth by the first corner. A great tussle ensued and I finished up 3rd. A very satisifying result from last on the grid. Only bigger and better things will come next year.
